Susan Hesemeier (PhD, MA, PR Dpl.), Principal Consultant
Susan is a writer, communications consultant, and instructor with more than twenty years of experience writing, editing, proofreading, researching, and mentoring colleagues integrating technology in their work. She also has over fifteen years of experience as an instructor of business communication, technical writing, and English composition and literature courses. Susan completed a PhD in English literature from the University of Toronto in 2012, in which she focused on how writers were using social networks and the short story to market their personal brand. She also has a Master of Arts in Humanities Computing from the University of Alberta, and she recently topped up her skills with a Public Relations diploma from MacEwan University in 2015. Her education and experience bring together public relations, business, leadership, research, and project management with a solid grounding in the English language. She has been commended for her friendly and accessible nature and for being able to write in both business and academic styles.
